Delete your account

1. How to delete your account in the app

You can delete your Night Night account at any time, directly from the app:

  1. Open the Night Night app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the More section and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm by tapping Delete my account.

You will be signed out immediately, and your profile will no longer be available on the platform. This action cannot be undone.

2. If you can't access the app

If you can no longer sign in or have already removed the app, send your request to nightnight@nightnightapp.com from the email address registered on your account, so we can confirm the request comes from you. We will close the account and confirm within 30 days.

3. What happens to your data

Your account is closed as soon as you confirm: you can no longer sign in, and your profile is no longer available on the platform.

Closing your account does not erase what you have already sent us. Your account record and the data attached to it — your profile, your children's information, your routines and sleep diary entries, your SOS conversations, your service history and your payment records — are kept in our systems in an inactive state. They stop being used to provide the service and are never used for marketing. We keep them because we may still need them to meet accounting and tax obligations, to resolve a dispute over a service already provided, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

If you want your personal data erased rather than kept inactive, write to nightnight@nightnightapp.com from your registered email address and ask for erasure. We handle these requests manually within 30 days and keep only the records the law requires us to keep.

4. Before you delete: your subscription

Your Premium subscription is billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by Night Night. Deleting your account does not cancel it, and no one but you can cancel it on your behalf — it will keep charging until you cancel it in the store where you bought it.

Cancel your subscription in the store first, then delete your account. You can reach the store's subscription page from Profile › Manage plan in the app.
